year at Party in the Park – selected area non-profit
organizations provide volunteers to work at the concerts, and then benefit from a portion of the funds raised from the evening.
Additionally being present at Party in the
Park is a great opportunity for these non-profit organizations to share
about their activities and missions to those in attendance.
the 2005 Party in the Park, EventZone has been able to donate
over $77,000 to local non-profit organizations. These partnering groups
have included: Historic Society of Western Virginia; Feeding America
Southwest Virginia; Virginia Amateur Sports; Kimoyo; YWCA of Roanoke
Valley; Roanoke Area Ministries-RAM House; The Arts Council of the
Blues Ridge; Council of Community Services; Blue Ridge Public TV-JASON

in the Park would not be possible if it weren’t for the volunteers that
come out each week, supplied to us by our local non-profit partners. If you
